Futuremaker Video Competition Rules and Restrictions

  1. This competition is open to legal residents of Wisconsin. Entrants must be 18 years or older and enrolled in one of Wisconsin’s technical colleges at time of entry.
  2. Participants may enter individually or as a team. For contact purposes, teams must designate a “team leader” on the required entry form.
  3. No entry fee is required.
  4. Video entries must be uploaded to YouTube.com to be eligible to win. The video may not have been submitted to nor have won another video contest.
  5. One entry form per entry required. Entrants may enter an unlimited number of videos, provided each video demonstrates a separate and original idea. Each team submission represents a single entry, and the same video entry may not be submitted by individual team members.
  6. Information on the entry form must be true and accurate. Entrant(s) must be the creator of the video and he/she/they must own all rights to the video. Incomplete, untrue or misleading entry forms will be grounds for disqualification.
  7. Only entries complying with contest rules, restrictions, terms and conditions may win. The contest will be judged by a panel of volunteers selected by the Wisconsin Technical College System. The decisions of the judges are final and binding.
  8. Due to the number of submissions, entrants who do not progress to the competition’s semi-final and grand prize rounds will not be notified. Winning entrants will be contacted at the conclusion of each judging cycle, beginning March 1, 2009.
  9. Winners may not transfer prize rights nor obtain substitutions. Wisconsin Technical College System is not responsible for the division of cash prizes among winning team members. All taxes on prizes are solely the responsibility of winners. Offer void where prohibited by law.
  10. Wisconsin Technical College System reserves the right to disqualify anyone who, in their opinion, has tampered with or disrupted the entry process or operation of this contest or violated contest rules, terms and conditions.
